Ascensión al pico Gratal

El Gratal es uno de los montes más destacados que podemos ver desde la ciudad de Huesca y sus alrededores, y destaca por ser una de las actividades más habituales para la primavera. Lo más normal es comenzar desde el pueblo de Arguis, o desde su embalse, que ofrecen un inicio más ligero y un recorrido con mejores vistas y vegetación.

Aunque el desnivel es de unos 700m, la ascensión es sencilla en general, con un tramo final más eminado. La ruta completa os puede llevar en torno a 4h o 4:30h, es decir, que puede ser apropiada para realizarla y a continuación pasar el mediodía y la tarde en el embalse o sus alrededores.

Al ser una senda tan transitada y conocida, no tendremos problemas en cuanto a señalización y guías, aunque es recomendable, como siempre que vayamos a hacer un recorrido de varias horas, que investiguemos antes el trazado, para tener ya algunas ideas previas sobre los tramos más y menos sencillos, y los lugares de interés en los que se puede parar, tanto a descansar como a admirar el paisaje.

Sin duda, es una actividad que merece la pena, ya que cuando lleguemos a la cima, gozaremos de vistas plenas en todas las direcciones, tanto de la ciudad de Huesca, como de Guara, del Pirineo y de Oroel. Un pico incomparable, sin ningún obstáculo, que nos permitirá descansar en su cima con la provincia a nuestros pies.
